Horticultural / Assistant Field Trials Operative

Horticultural/Scientific Field Trials Assistant required for 8-month contract commencing March 2025 at site based near Ipswich. The role involves assisting with the preparation and running of horticultural trials in the field and in glasshouses and will include potting up, watering, weeding and general horticultural duties.

Applicants must enjoy practical work and have experience of horticulture and/or environmental science. The ability to follow instructions, have an appreciation of scientific practice and work in an organised manner with attention to detail is also important.

Pleasant working environment within a small team based in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Hours 8am-4pm, Mon-Thurs & 8am-3.45pm on Friday with possible overtime. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a prestigious global company assisting with the development of innovative new products.
