I am delighted to be working with an existing client who is looking to bring in a Senior Software Developer into their established Engineering Team. My client is a leading player in the financial services world, where their products aim to bring both clients and consumers leading solutions and advice to make informed decisions. Based in Reading, this is a Hybrid role and you will work alongside a collaborative team that offers a friendly and flexible working environment and a fantastic benefits package alongside a salary between £50,000 – £70,000.
In this position as the Senior Software Developer, working in a sprint team of other developers, testers, product engineers & scrum master, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining well-written usable code. Conducting peer-to-peer code reviews as well as supporting and mentoring other team members. You will also be responsible for taking requirements and providing accurate and honest timescale updates, discussing challenges within the team, and reporting to stakeholders. As always, keeping up to date with new technologies and industry trends should be a fun part of your role.
For this role, I am looking for:
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Developer
- Strong experience using C# and .NET Core
- Flutter and Mobile Apps experience
- Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Mentoring & Guiding other team members
- Managed projects, deadlines, and effective communication skills with stakeholders and leadership teams
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with Azure or Microsoft SQL
- Industry experience in Finance/Fintech/Banking
