Our client is looking for an experienced Fire Consultant to join their independent consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a wide range of sectors including residential, healthcare, commercial, public buildings, leisure, mixed-use, education, and entertainment.
Principal Fire Consultant Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of UK Standards and Guidelines
- Full UK Driving License
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Working towards or achieved an IEng or CEng
Principal Fire Consultant Duties:
- Fire Strategy Drawings, Reporting & Assessment
- Façade Inspections
- CFD Modelling
- Fire Risk, FRAEW, & DSEAR Assessments
- Fire Door Inspections
- Support RIBA Stage 1 to 4
