THE ROLE
The Senior Functional Consultant is responsible for the delivery of high-quality business solutions to our customers. You will have the responsibility for applying best practices for all implementation work whilst following Kyriba implementation methodologies throughout the project phases.
Your duties are outlined, but are not limited to, below:
Project Execution
- Deliver Kyriba implementations projects to Kyriba customers
- Implement business processes and system configuration necessary to meet client requirements
- Drive design and analysis activities and produce related collateral
- Effectively apply Kyriba methodology and implementation standards
- Create functional analysis documents
- Implement Kyriba configuration necessary to meet client requirements
- Oversee and delegate tasks to more junior consultants
- Provide customer training on Kyriba functionality
- Manage smaller assignments independently
Communication and Documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully
- Lead customer meetings and workshops on functional topics
- Produce high-quality project documentation
Client Engagement
- Drive communications with clients to identify needs and evaluate business solutions
- Effectively set and manage customers’ expectations
- Understand project risks and address them proactively
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
- Develop solid relationships with customer personnel
Functional Expertise
- Seek to develop and have a thorough understanding of Kyriba modules, capabilities and constraints
- Ability to engage in expert conversations with Financial and IT professionals at various levels.
- Existing expertise in one or several of the following functional areas: Receivable finance, Payable finance, Cash Management, Payments, Cash Accounting, General Ledger Reconciliation, Financial Transactions, Bank Account Management, Business Intelligence.
- Strong motivation to train and develop new skills in all the functional areas of the Kyriba application and solutions
Experience
- Higher education degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Commerce or Engineering, or relevant work experience
- Disciplined and independent personal management skills – a self-starter who can work to deadlines and standards with minimum supervision
- Focused on delivering an excellent service to our clients
- Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- Experience interacting with external stakeholders and internal teams
- Proven track record of successful project implementations with strong exposure to customers
- Excellent communications skills, both spoken and written
- 10+ years of experience ideally in professional services / implementation / delivery roles in the working capital finance space, either in a bank or a fintech provider, in a client facing role
- Strong working capital finance business knowledge and proven track record in implementing mainly Receivables Finance, and also Payables Finance solutions
- Relevant work experience in treasury management and/or management consulting (big 4 or comparable) is appreciated
Office and Travel
- Kyriba offers flexible Office and Home Office working arrangements
- Travel to customer site for key activities or milestones is to be expected
- English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish language skills appreciated
