Investment Manager, Entrepreneurial Lower-Mid Market Private Equity Fund, London, UK

Our client is a highly-entrepreneurial UK SME investor who is looking for an Investment Manager to join the team in London, investing in small buy-outs and growth opportunities.

The two Managing Partners have established track records and have been able to build funds from traditional LP\’s and HNWI\’s. This mix of investors (and fund structures) means it can be nimble and invest in response to the market\’s needs. It typically invests between £2-10m in profitable businesses and assists portfolio companies as and when needed.

What the job involves:

• Supporting Managing Directors / Directors with individual deal execution processes: Due Diligence, negotiation and execution of transactions
• Work actively with the portfolio post-acquisition

Who we are looking for:

• A strong academic background, with ACA or ICAS completed
• Experience in corporate finance
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
• A passion for the SME sector and entrepreneurial businesses
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
