The Group Chief Trading Officer is responsible for the implementation and execution of the company’s trading strategy with oversight of the Options Market Making, Multi-Strategy Discretionary, Multi-Strategy Systematic, Market Intelligence, Front-Office Development and People teams. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Group Chief Trading Officer will drive trading performance and ensure that the trading activities are aligned with the firm’s risk appetite and business goals.
Role Responsibilities
- Drive the firm’s trading functions to optimise performance, leverage market opportunities and manage risks.
- Actively contribute to the Executive Committee, providing insights and recommendations that influence the firm’s overall trading strategy and growth trajectory.
- Oversee, guide, and support the principal leaders and strategists in charge of Options Market Making, Multi-Strategy Discretionary and Systematic functions, Business Intelligence, Front-office Development, and Personnel.
- Formulate, propose, and convey trading strategies that align with the Director’s strategic vision, thereby enhancing shareholder value.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the trading teams, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives and promoting collaboration across functions.
