Machine Operative
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00- 14:30 & Friday 06:00-13:00
Hourly Rate / Salary: Competitive
Duration: Permanent

Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery desirable but not essential
- Basic Microsoft Office application skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Previous manufacturing experience desirable
- To work in other departments when required
- Support and drive problem solving
The Role:
- Set up jigs and operate various CNC machines including but not limited to CNC milling centres and CNC lathes.
- Working closely within the team to achieve manufacturing targets
- Communicate product status accurately both verbally and written
- Maintaining high levels of attention to detail
- To cross train when required to support other units
- Problem solving/quick thinking.
