The Data Quality and Controls Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive data quality and controls programme that ensures accurate, complete, and reliable data across all our systems.
Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered.
Responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing a data quality and controls framework that provides business value

Managing project workstreams relating to data quality and integrity

Managing the small data quality team
-
Build and manage data quality and integrity controls using SAS
-
Maintain, monitor and support existing SAS data quality and integrity controls

Support and manage the design and implementation of data quality and integrity controls, aligned to the Santander data management policies
-
Responsible for ensuring appropriate data integrity controls are designed, tested, implemented and operated across SCUK’s internal systems and external connections to third party systems and data sources

Partner with the business to influence and enhance the value of Data Quality across the company

Ensure monthly data quality reporting is completed

Ensuring ongoing compliance with Risk Data Aggregation requirements under Basel regulation BCBS239

Take a leading role in fulfilling ad hoc requests and projects related to data quality and integrity controls

Assist in the maintenance, implementation and annual review of relevant models, policies, and procedures

Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to Santander Consumer risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk framework

Adhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our Customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection

Practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience of developing, implementing, managing and monitoring data quality and integrity controls adapted to the organisation served

Project management experience in the implementation of Data Quality solutions
