New Enterprise Risk Manager opportunity working with an exciting, rapidly growing specialty insurer. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support the development and integration of a comprehensive risk management framework and risk culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise the profile of risk management and embed a positive risk culture across the business.
  • Review and develop the risk management framework to ensure it meets business needs.
  • Oversee risk assessments, controls, and reporting, and provide advice on risk mitigation.
  • Monitor risks and controls, maintaining the risk register and tracking key risk metrics.
  • Support risk management training and awareness initiatives.
  • Act as the second line of defence, challenging risk management activities at all levels.

Key Skills and Qualification:

  • University degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Strong understanding of risk management best practices and Solvency II (preferred).
  • Experience in risk management or internal/external audit, with knowledge of the general insurance industry (London Insurance Market is a plus).
  • Ability to effectively challenge and communicate with senior management.
