Job Description:
An excellent opportunity for you to join a very well-backed surgery with an equally very bright future.
Following a change of provider, the practice can now call upon several central departments and functions, offering significantly increased levels of support to its clinical team and patient services. This will have significant benefits on the patient experience as well as your own as a GP working in the practice.
15-minute appointments and weekly paid CPD time are just two of the many attraction points on offer.
Salary: £11,000-12,500 per session plus indemnity and paid CPD (4 hours per week pro rata)
The surgery:
- Medium-sized, one-site practice
- Geared towards reducing GP workload with a clinical support team of Paramedics, ACPs, and Nurse Practitioners helping with the on-the-day demand.
- Central functions in place to support with workflow, as well as the local practice-based IT and document team.
- Paid CPD time reducing your weekly working hours.
- Pleasant population with a good mix of ages – pockets of deprivation but generally middle class.
- Superb IT structure and support – highly organised practice.
- CQC Good.
- SystmOne.
Your role:
- 2 or more sessions per week; school hours also available.
- Very reasonable workload: 13 patients per session with 15-minute appointments for all.
- Whole team coffee break every morning.
- Triage-based on-call with minimal to no F2F appointments – mostly a supervisory/admin-based role.
- Virtually no home visits.
- You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
