Male Teaching Assistant | Secondary SEN | East London | Temp – Perm We are looking for an experienced Male Teaching Assistant who inspires to work with in an SEN environment. As a Male Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students in a classroom at one of leading Secondary SEN Schools in East London. The nature of this role requires a male as the pupil corresponds better with males. We want you to provide enriching support as a TA, using a safe and effective approach to ensue, this pupil receives the best support. Role: Male Teaching Assistant Start: ASAP Contract: Full time Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 Location: IG11, East London Rate: £95-110 Per Day Ideal Candidate: Supervising and supporting pupils Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies Supporting with behaviour management Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.Requirements: Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students. Some basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers. Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Bachelor\’s degree (Education Studies, Psychology or Sports Degrees are welcome)Benefits: Potential to land a permanent position.
