This role is ideally for a Physiologist with an interest and a passion for arrhythmia management. We are looking for someone to join the CRM physiology team to increase their knowledge and exposure within device management and/or electrophysiology (EP). For those with no prior EP experience, there will be the option to express interest to complete the in-house EP training programme.
At Barts we offer:
- Significant conditional enhanced pay
- Flexible working opportunities including working from home
- Specialised practice in CRM/EP only

Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking forward-thinking, dynamic, and motivated individuals to work primarily at the BHC in the City of London. This post may vary slightly depending on the skills of applicants and may involve some combination of cardiac rhythm management (devices) and/or EP. Willingness to rotate through, or learn in, more than one area is desirable. You will be contributing significantly to the cardiac physiology service, with some possible cross-site cover at other hospitals required.
BHC is a 10-lab cardiology service with 5 of these operating in devices and EP, and 5 in intervention. We run 6 device follow-up rooms including 4 Physiologist-led specialist device clinics with a view to introduce Consultant Physiologist posts in the future. We have one of the largest remote monitoring services in Europe.
Applicants should be competent in all non-invasive cardiac procedures. You will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with this grade to contribute fully to the improvement and advancement of the service.
Applicants who do not have a BSc Clinical Physiology degree (or international equivalent) will not be short-listed.
