Role Overview

The Head of Business Development will drive growth through strategic partnerships with global brands to scale our revenues. This role requires a commercially driven leader with a proven partnerships and business expansion track record.

The successful candidate will lead a team focused on acquiring and managing relationships with hotels, retail brands, loyalty schemes, and airlines, ensuring that Laundryheap becomes the preferred laundry and dry-cleaning provider for millions of users across these diverse customer bases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a global sales strategy, focusing on expanding Laundryheap’s partnership portfolio.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-value, long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outbound sales efforts, and strategic collaborations.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with hotel & serviced apartment brands, retail brands, and loyalty schemes, negotiating commercial agreements that drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Drive white-label and co-branded opportunities, integrating Laundryheap’s services into partner ecosystems to enhance market penetration.
  • Oversee a high-performing sales and business development team, setting clear KPIs, implementing structured sales processes, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to track performance, forecast revenue, and refine sales strategies for continuous optimisation.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, adapting sales approaches to capitalise on emerging trends and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing teams to optimise go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless execution of new partnership opportunities.
  • Represent Laundryheap at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements, strengthening the brand presence and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Continuously refine the value proposition and sales approach, leveraging customer insights and market feedback to drive innovation and business growth.

We are looking for

  • 5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, preferably in high-growth startups, enterprise services, or digital marketplaces.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and scale businesses through strategic sales initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong track record of securing and managing high-value B2B or B2B2C partnerships in industries such as hospitality, travel, real estate, logistics, or corporate services.
  • Experience negotiating and maintaining long-term, commercially successful relationships with enterprise clients.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise sales, negotiation, and contract structuring.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value contracts and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Skilled in structuring strategic agreements that drive sustained business growth.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience in lead generation, relationship building, and deal closure at the enterprise level.
  • Deep understanding of consultative selling, pipeline management, and B2B/B2B2C account development.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and drive business expansion through data-driven decision-making.
