An excellent opportunity for a very experienced Maintenance Suprvisor is available to join a world leader of Ingredients and Premix Manufacturing solutions for the food, beverage and nutrition industries. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for superversing all Engineering and Facility activities across 2 sites in Kent. You will be a mentor and coach for the team and provide leadership and direction in all activities whilst providing a strong support service for all departments. Will also work closely with the Health & Safety representative to manage all legal compliance duties and liaise with the Operations and General Manager regarding on site development and projects. The main responsibilities will be: * Efficiently seupervise and provide support to the team of technicians on any technical matters. * To improve service delivery performance and reduce costs where possible * Monitor and report on KPI's for the department * Undertake engineer audits for machinery where necessary * Deliver Tool Box Talks * Manage all aspects of engineering in relation to all works, from planning to completion. * Developing practices, routines and solutions to help improve productivitiy and product quality * Perform risk assessment * Take ownership of the site T-Card reporting system for Maintenance and breakdown reports and delegate tasks to the team * Develop new health & safety policy procedures in line with existing rules and regul…
