Micheldever Tyre Services is looking for a proactive Sales Ledger Administrator to join our busy Finance Office, carrying out maintenance and cash management of all customers assigned to you. Producing sales ledger invoices and payment requests in a timely manner. Proactively monitoring failed payments: carrying out credit control, sending payment reminders, and following up on overdue accounts.
Must have: Either experience of debt collection / credit control or working as a Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator - in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:
- Complete daily banking: posting of all electronic receipts
- Allocate payments, monitoring any failed payments
- Dealing with allocation errors
- Consolidate invoices and produce office reports
- Prepare all information to enable new customer accounts to be created or amended
- Ensure all customer administration is carried out within agreed definitions and parameters
- Ensure excellent communications and relationships are maintained with other departments
About you:
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of either credit control or debt collection or as a Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator who has been actively involved with Direct Debits; submitting weekly, producing letters and statements, posting, uploading and management mandates and monitoring failed payments
- Online Web Orders (0PTONLIN); Posting and allocating payments for Klarna & PayPal
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
- Ability to build positive working relationships
- Excellent customer service skills
