We are looking to appoint a teacher in Teacher in A Level English to teach on the A Level study programmes for 16-18-year-olds; this could also include the teaching of A level English Language and Literature or/and English Literature. The role is to provide cover within the department and will be based in our Sixth Form Centre.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum planning in our English programmes and Monitor students’ progress and contribute to the evaluation of results in the English Department.

You will hold an Honours Degree in English or a relevant subject, have relevant experience in teaching these to 16-18-year-olds up to Level 3. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.
