Job Description

As part of the Digital and Data team, you will help bridge the gap between business challenges and innovative solutions, contributing to projects that make a tangible difference.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll take on a leadership role in shaping and delivering transformative products and services. You’ll work on complex projects that require a blend of strategic vision, delivery management, and relationship-building skills.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of products and services, working closely with clients to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps. You’ll align priorities with business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility. You’ll work on a range of assignment types, including rapid strategy development, product design and delivery, and product advisory.
2. Manage the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, taking responsibility for defining and prioritising backlogs, overseeing development, and monitoring quality assurance.
3. Conduct user and market research, analysing customer behaviours, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
4. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to drive alignment, gather requirements, and co-create solutions. You’ll ensure all voices are heard and that key priorities are identified and addressed.
5. Develop user personas, customer journey maps, and service blueprints, ensuring that products and services deliver exceptional value and a seamless experience.
6. Establish success metrics, such as KPIs and OKRs, to measure impact and ensure alignment with broader business goals. You’ll also design operating models that support continuous product improvement.
7. Manage cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, delivery, and QA, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication across all phases of delivery.
8. Build trusted client relationships, acting as a strategic advisor and identifying opportunities to extend engagements and deliver additional value.
9. Lead complex engagements, managing timelines, budgets, and risks, while ensuring that deliverables meet the highest standards.
10. Mentor and develop team members, sharing your expertise in product management and service design to build internal capability and drive continuous improvement.
11. Contribute to business development, supporting bid management, shaping proposals, and creating case studies to showcase PA’s capabilities and successes.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

1. Significant experience leading product development and delivery, with a proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder environments and delivering complex solutions.
2. Experience in a client facing role, either with an agency or consultancy, where you have built strong client relationships and owned assignment outcomes. Experience of leading proposals.
3. Comfortable working across all PA industries including Consumer & Manufacturing, Public Sector, Defence & Security, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Transport.
4. Expertise in product management, service design, and digital strategy methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse challenges.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise data, research, and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex ideas in a structured, intuitive way.
7. Experience leading cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across disciplines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
8. A collaborative and empathetic leadership style, with a focus on mentoring, developing others, and harnessing a culture of excellence.
9. Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify new opportunities, contribute to business development, and build PA’s reputation as a leader in product management and service design.

We believe in collaboration and are guided by our client’s work and needs; however, we value flexibility too. Our hybrid working model lets you balance work and life, with most roles requiring at least three days a week in the office or on client sites. Your schedule will be shaped by your role, team needs, and discussions with your manager to ensure the right mix of face-to-face and independent work.
