The Opportunity – Site Engineer: Join our client’s team as a Site Engineer, where you will play a key role in ensuring the technical success of project works. This is a fantastic chance to work on diverse projects while actively engaging in health and safety, quality, environmental, and commercial management. Key Accountabilities – Site Engineer: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and their representatives, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. Promote the organisation\’s strategies and policies related to sustainability, health and safety, quality, and environmental management, while embodying the company culture and values. Implement the Business Management System to improve operational efficiency. Identify and resolve challenges proactively to ensure project success. Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement throughout all project phases. Take on line management responsibilities, including conducting annual appraisals and mentoring junior team members. Ensure compliance with contract specifications and drawings, while keeping accurate records to confirm adherence. Undertake any other relevant duties as required. Competency Requirements – Site Engineer: A solid foundation of technical knowledge and experience with a main contractor in the construction sector. Comprehensive experience as a Site Engineer, particularly with main contractors, is essential. Experience as a Graduate or Trainee Site Engineer will also be considered. Technical/Professional Expertise and Qualifications – Site Engineer: A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant construction discipline is essential. Completion of a Safety Level 1 course and possession of an appropriate CSCS Card. What my client can offer in return – Site Engineer: A competitive salary (to be discussed upon application).
