Chief Executive at Your Bromley Business Improvement District
Bromley is the cultural, civic, and economic heart of London’s largest borough. Identified in the London Plan as one of only fourteen metropolitan centres, the town boasts an enviable retail offer including many of the nation’s best loved brands, a diverse mix of leisure businesses, a thriving hospitality scene, and a strong office sector.
Your Bromley Business Improvement District (BID) works on behalf of over 500 businesses to improve the town as a place to work, live, and visit.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing campaign, promoting Bromley Town Centre as a vibrant destination for consumers, visitors, and businesses, and communicating the work of Your Bromley BID to our levy payers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and delivery of Business to Consumer marketing and communications programme, enhancing Bromley’s image and driving footfall.
- Develop excellent relations with town centre businesses and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing leads from businesses and key organisations.
- Work with the Chief Executive and partners to deliver an exciting calendar of events.
- Manage communications to levy payers and work with the Chief Executive on the 2025 ballot campaign.
- Ensure a high quality photographic/videographic record of BID activity is kept.
- Implement business and consumer targeted email campaigns driving traffic to the company website.
- Maintain the Your Bromley website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and optimised for search engines.
- Manage all social media feeds including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube (develop TikTok and BlueSky accounts), creating engaging content promoting the town centre, its businesses, and the work of the BID.
- Monitor the success of campaigns and provide performance reports.
- Ensure that all activity complies with GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- Champion the work of Your Bromley and act as an ambassador for the town centre.
- Management of the overall marketing budget for each given scheme or event, in consultation with the Chief Executive.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven expertise in content creation, website management, SEO, social media strategy, and performance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clean, clear, and impactful copy, tailored for different audiences.
- Confident in design and proficient in the use of design software.
- Positive, highly motivated and outgoing personality.
- Articulate, and comfortable liaising with a range of businesses and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Event planning and production experience.
- Experienced in managing suppliers.
- Experience in budget management and reporting.
- Understanding of Business Improvement Districts and the context in which they operate.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (full time with evening and weekend working as required)
Benefits include: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), contributory pension scheme
Although working day to day for Your Bromley BID, employment for this role will be with Savills Management Resources.
