We are seeking a legal counsel to join a small in-house legal team on a permanent basis, providing legal support to the commercial team in relation to IT contracts. This is a mostly remote role with great salary and benefits., The role will primarily focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT contracts (such as IT services and support agreements, software licences and reseller agreements) and other commercial contracts. Some flexibility to deal with more general legal matters including disputes, compliance, employment would also be good.
Their expertise focuses on various sectors including aerospace & defence, automotive, energy, construction, life science, food & beverage, media, professional services, retail & consumer markets and more. They are looking for an experienced and ambitious legal counsel to join the function., The ideal Legal Counsel will be around 5/6 years PQE although we will consider candidates with IT experience at a different level.
You must have knowledge of IT, IP and data protection law; experience in compliance, employment, corporate governance and dispute resolution would be advantageous.
You must also be a clear communicator, commercially aware and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
