We are seeking a professional HGV1 driver to join our sister companies team. This is a permanent position starting immediately.
You will be required to a minimum of 2/3 nights out per week.
Salary negotiable
Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly for transportation
– Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
– Required to do 2-3 Nights out per week
– Delivering local and distance
Skills:
– Valid commercial driver\’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with flatbed or delivery driving experience
– Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in various road and weather conditions
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
– Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
– Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed
– Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
