At Avania our mission is simple, to become the leading global MedTech Advisory & Clinical Development Partner of choice.We are looking for ambitious sales professionals with MedTech/Device and clinical trial sales experience seeking a new challenge.The role of Director, Business Development will include the following- Be accountable for an individual annual target selling to sponsor and biotech clients- Independently lead the sales process including planning and implementation of sales activities.- Assist with identification of bid defense team participants. Educate team participants in client culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques needed to close the sale.- Independently identify accounts which have the potential to become global key accounts.- Lead the preparation of Sponsor presentations (general capabilities and bid defense presentations).- Understand and identify potential growth areas for Avania through market research and knowledge of competitive landscape.The Director, Business Development is an individual contributor role, focused on new account wins and new business development and offers the opportunity to sell our market leading, full service capabilities and subject matter expertise in the exciting MedTech/device sector.We are hiring in either of the United Kingdom or Europe (Spain, Germany and/or Netherlands)Candidates who offer any combination of the skills, knowledge and experience listed below, are encouraged to apply for the role of Director, Business Development.
