Electrical SupervisorLocation: Chichester, UKContract: Full timeTGS have partnered with a mission critical construction firm that have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects across the UK and various locations in Europe. They take pride in being a comprehensive provider of building services solutions.Due to their remarkable growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of client projects, ensuring the successful completion of project goals. You will report to the Project Manager and/or Contracts Managers and engage in daily communication with Suppliers, Site Supervisor, Project Manager, EHSQ, Subcontractors.Responsibilities of the Electrical Site Supervisor:Ensure on-site compliance with EHSQ standards, conduct Toolbox talks, manage RAMS, and ensure the use of appropriate PPE.Ensure that all necessary permits are obtained and in order.Develop weekly lookahead plans and coordinate project scheduling.Oversee the coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour on-site.Provide direction and training to apprentices for managing deliveries and daily inspections.Supervise and manage labour, site supervisors, and subcontractors.Execute commissioning and closeout plans for projects.Ensure the completion of snag lists and meet labour tracking goals.Handle relevant external correspondence and manage the ordering of daily site materials.Update and maintain project-related information for progress reports.Manage the client’s Document Management System.Develop project-specific schedules and communicate changes to the Project team.Monitor and report on project quality.Required Skills and Qualifications:Demonstrable background in overseeing mission critical electrical engineering worksFull qualification as an Electrician, including Qualified QC Tester.Experience in Project Management is advantageous.Proficiency in computer use.Outstanding interpersonal skills.What\’s in it for You:Employee Assistance ProgramHealth and Wellness programsOpportunities for internal progression
