Senior Planner

We are seeking a motivated Senior Planner to join a growing, London-based property development company with a strong pipeline of projects across the capital and the wider South-East. As Senior Planner, you will play a central part in identifying, promoting, and securing planning consents across a diverse portfolio of immediate and strategic sites working closely with the Planning Director.This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in shaping the planning strategy of a dynamic company that is expanding the number of homes it delivers each year.Key Responsibilities:Monitoring planning policy, appeals and case lawAdvising internal teams on planning matters and potential acquisitionsDeveloping and delivering planning and site promotion strategiesManaging consultants and coordinating project teamsLeading the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications and agreementsBuilding strong relationships with planning authorities, stakeholders and partnersKey Requirements:MRTPI or MRICS (Planning & Development) qualified, with c. 4–6 years’ post-qualification experienceStrong knowledge of planning policy and development processesComfortable managing projects independently, but equally collaborative when working with wider teamsStrategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skillsKeen to gain exposure within a fast-paced, privately-owned development environmentRef: 3978IG
