We design and manufacture a complete range of transportation systems, from high-speed trains to electric buses and driverless trains, as well as infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility solutions. Alstom is the UK & Ireland’s leading supplier of new trains and train services, and a leading signalling and rail infrastructure provider. Employing 6000 people, we design and build trains at Derby, the UK’s largest train factory; and operate major sites at Widnes and Wolverhampton and 30 train services depots across the UK and Ireland.

These Graduate roles will be based in either our Supply Chain or our Procurement functions. The location will be Derby, Litchurch Lane and the Talent Development programme commences on the 1st September 2025.
You will complete a two-year accredited development programme whilst providing a tangible contribution to the success of the team. During the programme, you will undertake a series of rotations around the function gaining an understanding of the business and the service operation lifecycle. Developing your knowledge during your time at Alstom is key, along with developing your skills, experience and leadership mindset. Within a climate of innovation, you will also support solutions to meet customer requirements as part of the safety case and train presentation, support the identification and delivery of continuous improvement.
You will have the opportunity to complete on-the-job learning, which is complemented by a modular personal development programme. Supported by a mentor, you will be able to work towards gaining a relevant professional qualification.
Your Qualifications:
You will need a minimum 2:1 BSc (Hons) in a Business/Management related degree. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude and a passion for making things happen.
