About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for an In Room Dining Manager to join the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Ensure smooth, efficient, and service-focused Room Service operations, with guest satisfaction as the top priority.
- Motivate, manage, and develop the Room Service team to achieve exceptional service and positive colleague relations.
- Maintain strong collaboration with other F&B outlets and departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle guest relations, including complaints, special requests, and inquiries, with a focus on VIPs and their preferences.
- Supervise the preparation, quality control, and service of all Room Service orders, including special VIP amenities.
- Maintain and ensure the availability of equipment, food, beverage stocks, and accurate minibar setups.
- Oversee schedules, timesheets, and department revenue forecasting.
- Manage monetary transactions, monitor departmental revenue, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Uphold company policies, health and safety regulations, and department objectives, ensuring compliance with hotel rules.
- Attend training sessions, adapt to industry changes, and take on additional responsibilities to meet guest service needs.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent position.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
- Proactive and passionate about delivering outstanding guest service experiences.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus, as well as industry trends.
- Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively engage with guests and colleagues.
- Skilled in maximizing profit, managing budgets, and identifying sales opportunities within the department.
