As our Partner Acquisition Manager, you\’ll be responsible for acquiring new partners with a focus on partnerships with new POS partners integrating SumUp payments, being a key player to accelerate SumUp\’s revenue growth.

What you\’ll do

  1. Identify & Target ISVs: Focus on ISVs that would benefit from our API/SDKs. Build a solid pipeline through research, networking, and direct outreach.
  2. Lead Partnership Discussions: Understand ISVs needs, present our API’s value, and negotiate win-win partnerships.
  3. Facilitate API Integrations: Work directly with ISVs and internal teams to ensure smooth API/SDK integration. Provide hands-on support and resolve technical issues quickly.
  4. Collaborate Across Teams: Align with product, marketing, and engineering teams to reflect partner needs in our offerings and provide market insights to guide strategy.

You\’ll be great for this position if

  1. You have a commercial background with proven experience in partner acquisition, business development/sales, with a focus on ISVs and API integrations.
  2. You have industry knowledge of the POS market and Fintech experience.
  3. You have strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and communicate technical product features.
  4. You have exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. You have the ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  6. You are results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
