Location: London
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Events Executive to join the Marketing & Research team based in London.
Joining as the Events Executive, you will report into our EMEA Events Manager, supporting her and the Head of Events to deliver a fully coordinated programme of relationship-building opportunities to support the targeting, tracking, and winning new business within the UK, and from the major EMEA Events & Exhibitions.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our fee-generating teams to identify opportunities, and alongside business development managers and our insights team, and you will ensure that we maximize our opportunity for supporting the sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making C&W Exhibitions & Events an exemplary brand experience – for clients, targets, and our people.
- Help to deliver and drive an industry-leading exhibition and event strategy for the EMEA business.
- Delivery of live, hybrid & virtual events across all business sectors.
- Project management and production of exhibition & events from concept to delivery.
- Ensure close working with Business Development Managers.
- European travel required and out-of-hours working.
- Deliver monthly reporting to allow us to see the extent of opportunities for engagement with the divisions of the business.
- Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud and supporting systems.
- Event Branding – place cards, name badges, branded merchandise, banners.
- Inbox management – response logging, sign-posting, sending out invitations.
- Ad-hoc admin support for Head of EMEA Events.
Key Skills:
- Both written and oral, ideally with experience working across multiple countries.
- Experience delivering corporate events.
- Confident hosting live/hybrid events, good knowledge of platforms including MS Teams, Teams Townhall, and ON24.
- Able to demonstrate end-to-end exhibition/event strategy, planning, and delivery skills and experience.
- Experience of client relationship programmes.
- Experience leveraging CRM and event management systems.
- Previous experience of working within professional services or business-to-business environment is useful but not essential.

- Ability and confidence to relate and work closely with the business.
- Commercial acumen.
- Ability to understand client needs and translate these into relationship-building opportunities.
- Proactive, high-energy person who can be a positive influence on others in a fast-moving environment.

- Must be able to effectively work with people in all disciplines, all cultures, at all levels.
- Ability to think strategically and be able to prioritize.
- Strong digital and social skills (MS Office, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Knowledge and experience of using Aventri would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Brings a sense of fun and energy to the role.
Professional Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level, preferred but not essential.
- Event Management qualifications preferred but not essential.
