Joseph Walker founded Walker’s Shortbread when he opened his bakery in the Speyside village of Aberlour in 1898 where Walker’s remains to this day. Now it is Joseph’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren that continue the tradition of fine baking that he started. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Technical Manager to join our close-knit team. The successful candidate will work alongside our existing team member who currently oversees audits and certification, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our production processes. Main Duties: Working closely with the Technical Director and Factory Technical (Audit) Manager. Lead and manage the technical & QA teams. Work alongside QA manager and teams of lab technicians. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers Refine and implement quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
