Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (via Umbrella)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on a 6-month initial contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing API data to assess compliance with data standards, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires previous experience in financial services and expertise in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse API data to evaluate compliance with data standards and identify areas for improvement.
2. Develop insights from API data and usage patterns to demonstrate value and inform strategic decisions.
3. Create reports and dashboards to track adoption KPIs and effectively communicate results to senior stakeholders.
4. Provide recommendations for improving metadata quality and API discoverability based on data insights.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance and API analytics strategies.

Key Requirements:

1. Previous experience in financial services is essential.
2. Strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau).
3. Experience working with API data, metadata, and usage analytics.
4. Ability to communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
5. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in the financial sector.

Contract Details:

1. Duration: 6 months (potential for extension).
2. Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in London.
3. Engagement: Inside IR35 – via Umbrella Company.
