Job Title – Structured Cabling Engineer

My client, a rapidly growing telecommunications contractor who specializes in physical infrastructure, wireless network, and security solutions, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team. We are looking for a Structured Data Cabling Engineer with structured cabling copper & fibre experience. Engineers will be responsible for carrying out data cable installs throughout the UK & Ireland. They must also be comfortable working in a construction environment.

The Role

  1. A background in structured cabling.
  2. Desirable to have 2 years field engineering experience in copper & fibre installation, terminating and testing.
  3. Knowledge & experience setting up and using copper & fibre certification testers.
  4. Be able to work as part of a team and independently.
  5. Knowledge & experience with the installation, termination, and troubleshooting of copper & fibre structured cabling systems.
  6. Containment systems installation.
  7. Reading and interpreting CAD drawings, technical designs, and work to programme schedules.
  8. Full driving licence.
