HGV / Plant Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a well established earthworks company in their search for HGV / Plant Engineer to work in their leading facility in Liverpool.

For the successful HGV / Plant Engineer our client is offering:

• Up to £47,000 per year + overtime (OT paid at T x 1.5)
• Mon – Fri 7am to 5pm (Sat 7am to 12pm for OT)
• Permanent
• 28 Days Holiday (including Bank Holidays)
• Company pension
• On-site parking

The role – HGV / Plant Engineer:

• Perform comprehensive servicing and repairs on vehicles, adhering to MOT standard
• Thorough understanding of legal compliance requirements
• Proficiently diagnose and resolve a wide range of fleet-related faults
• Complete all documentation to the highest standards
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of workshop tasks
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain safe working practices

What our client is looking for in a HGV / Plant Engineer:

• Proven experience of working on HGV vehicles – Essential
• Experience working on DAF’s and MAN’s – Beneficial
• NVQ L3 in Vehicle/ HGV mechanics or equivalent – Beneficial
• Experience working on Road Sweepers and Heavy plant machinery – Beneficial
• HGV Driving License – Preferred
• Driver CPC – Preferred
