Electrical Engineer - Stanford le Hope

Summary
My client is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join the team in Stanford Le Hope, tasked with ensuring the highest operational efficiency of electrical equipment and supporting the implementation of World Class Maintenance.

This role involves working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure seamless operation of systems. Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading and owning long-term improvement plans for assets
2. Implementing Written Schemes of Examination
3. Recommending repairs
4. Managing a Risk Based Assessment programme for electrical systems
5. Providing technical input for projects and plant modifications
6. Ensuring management of change practices
7. Conducting routine maintenance to improve system performance

The successful candidate will promote the maintenance management system, contribute to budget targets, and develop the skills of engineers, fitters, and apprentices. Health and Safety compliance and continuous performance review are also crucial aspects of this role.

Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment
• Experience with Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradley, Profinet
• Preventive, predictive, and systematic maintenance expertise
• Risk Based Assessment programme management
• Fault detection and diagnosis methods
• Project management and CAPEX project delivery
• Health and Safety compliance
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Team development and training skills
• Budget management and cost efficiency

Software/Tools:
Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradley, Profinet, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Project management software.

Certifications & Standards
BEng or MEng in a related discipline, or QBE (Qualified by Experience). 18th Edition (Essential).

This is a permanent position with a salary circa £45k.
