As Head of People, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping SignHealth’s culture, engagement, and workforce strategy. You will lead on employee relations, recruitment, reward, and wellbeing, ensuring that our people feel valued, motivated, and set up for success. Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, you’ll influence key decisions that directly impact our people and the communities we serve., Drive Strategic HR Leadership – Support the Director of People in delivering our 3-Year Plan & People Strategy.
Lead Organisational Culture – Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
Oversee Reward & Recognition – Ensure fair and competitive pay, benefits, and recognition programmes.
Enhance Recruitment & Retention – Develop inclusive hiring and talent management strategies.
Champion Employee Wellbeing & Engagement – Lead initiatives to increase staff satisfaction and motivation.
Ensure Compliance & Best Practice – Maintain HR policies, employment law adherence, and data-driven decision-making.
Senior HR leadership experience, ideally in the charity or healthcare sector.
Proven success in delivering People projects and cultural change initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
Expertise in recruitment, talent management, and succession planning.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
BSL Level 2 (or willingness to learn) to engage with our deaf-led culture.
