A £20m turnover manufacturing company in Barnsley have a vacancy for a Financial Controller
Reporting to the Finance Director this role is responsible for the day to day accounting activities and managing 5 people.
- Monthly management accounts for 5 Group companies and reporting monthly financial results to the parent company
- Annual Statutory accounts and audit compliance.
- Managing the costing systems
- Overhead absorption with regular monitoring of under/over absorption and labour efficiencies
- Customer & product profitability analysis
- Cashflow forecasting
- Budgeting & variance analysis
- Foreign exposure and hedging
You will be;
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Effective communication skills
