The Home Located just outside Coleraine in a peaceful rural setting, Bohill Bungalows is a specialist care facility dedicated to supporting individuals with complex needs. As a leading provider of highly specialised care, we support residents living with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, neuro-degenerative conditions, learning disabilities, and complex epilepsy. Opened in 2012, the facility comprises three purpose-built, six-bedroom bungalows one designed specifically for individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and two tailored for those with learning disabilities. Each bungalow provides a homely and supportive environment, where residents receive personalised care and rehabilitation. At Bohill Bungalows, we work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of care within a home-like setting. The Role The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The Domestic Assistant role at Healthcare Ireland Group works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for. From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents. About The Role Main Responsibilities Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home Cover domestic duties as assigned Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
