Smart4Chemicals are looking to recruit a Development Technologist for a leading composite materials manufacturer in the Nottinghamshire area.
To be considered for the role of Development Technologist you must be degree educated as a minimum in materials science, chemistry, polymer chemistry or a similar subject. You must also have experience in industry in developing prepreg formulations.
As a Development Technologist you will be responsible for leading and delivering R&D projects, supporting product development and ensuring quality standards are complied with across all areas of responsibility.
- Role requirements:
- Degree educated in materials science, polymer chemistry, chemistry or a closely related subject. PhD highly desirable.
- Previous industrial experience in working with composite materials. Ideally, 2+ years and for aerospace or automotive applications.
- Hands-on experience of various analytical techniques used for resin development.
- Any experience in being able to develop prepreg formulations is essential for the role.
