Job Description
One of the world’s leading independent Airport lounge groups is looking to recruit an Executive Chef to oversee their UK premium lounges based in Heathrow, Gatwick and Edinburgh Airports.
Reporting to the Director of Hospitality the Executive Chef will manage a culinary team of up to 40 employees and will lead culinary strategy and operations with a view to develop and set culinary standards across all lounges including food quality and safety.
The lounges range in capacity from 400 to 1400 pax per day offering breakfast and lunch/dinner with times from 0400 to 2200. The position is predominantly Monday to Friday but with a view to working weekends occasionally.
This role is very much operations driven with little to no cooking done. However, the successful Executive Chef will need to have a background as a Chef in Contract Catering and experience with processes, procedures and procurement.
The salary for this role is £65k to £70k per annum.
