A leading international professional services firm is looking for an Event Executive to join their collaborative and high-performing Events team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a hands-on role in delivering a variety of engaging, client-facing events that support the firm’s strategic goals. From seminars and conferences to networking receptions and large-scale functions, you’ll be involved in every stage of the event lifecycle.
You will provide end-to-end event support for a range of in-person and virtual events. You’ll play a key role in managing the firm’s Scotland-based event activity, while working closely with colleagues in the wider BD and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver in-person events across three Scotland offices, offering onsite support as required.
- Oversee the events calendar for the region, working with stakeholders to identify objectives and execute successful outcomes.
- Manage event logistics including budgeting, venue and supplier coordination, invitations, delegate tracking, and post-event reporting.
- Ensure accurate data is recorded in the firm’s CRM system and support GDPR-compliant processes.
- Liaise with fee earners and other business teams to share best practice and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Support the delivery of virtual events and provide general event-related administration.
- Continually seek ways to improve processes and enhance the delegate experience.
- Previous experience delivering a range of event formats, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- A collaborative working style and the confidence to influence and advise stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM and e-marketing tools, as well as an understanding of data protection best practices.
- Flexibility to attend events outside of core business hours as needed.
- Experience within the legal or professional services sector is highly desirable.
