With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence, they deliver high-quality maintenance services to a range of international airline customers.Role OverviewThe Mechanic will report to and work alongside the Leading Mechanic and Certifier on allocated zones/aircraft. This role is responsible for carrying out both routine and non-routine base maintenance tasks in line with approved documentation, procedures, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using approved documentation and procedures.Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times.Maintain awareness and ensure best practices are applied in Health & Safety and Human Factors.Complete all paperwork to required standards in line with company MOE.Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area, hangar bays, and facilities.Notify the company promptly of any significant findings.Raise safety reports upon identifying hazards or following incidents.Hold and maintain a valid Company Mechanic Authorisation.Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by management.Working ConditionsBased in a Base Station environment depending on operational requirements.Standard working week of 7am – 7pm on a 5-5-4 shift pattern.Occasional requirement to work outside standard hours due to operational needs.Education & QualificationsRecognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.Skills & ExperienceProven work history in a base maintenance environment.Experience completing wiring modifications, primarily on Airbus family aircraft (Boeing experience desirable).Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret technical publications.Ability to work independently, use initiative, and make timely, fact-based decisions.Flexible approach with ability to deliver to tight deadlines.Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning.High standard of English (written & spoken).Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.Additional RequirementsMust be eligible to live and work in the UK.Ability to uphold safety, compliance, and company standards at all times.NotesThis job description outlines the main duties and responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
