This is a permanent role based in Lancashire. Key Responsibilities:We’re looking for skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers (electrical or mechanical bias) to join our high-performing FMCG engineering team in Lancashire.As part of a close-knit shift team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of modern production equipment from ovens and mixers to conveyors and packaging lines. You’ll help keep downtime to a minimum, support production during changeovers/start-ups, and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site.This is more than “just another engineering role” it’s an opportunity to grow, progress, and be recognised in a business that invests heavily in its people.What You’ll Be Doing:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on high-speed production machinery.Fault-finding and problem solving across both electrical and mechanical systems.Supporting production teams to ensure smooth changeovers and minimal downtime.Driving equipment reliability through improvement projects and upgrades.Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance (H&S, food safety, 5S).Working collaboratively in a team of 20 engineers, supported by leaders who value development and internal progression.What We\’re Looking For:A time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or highly regulated environments (FMCG preferred).Strong fault-finding skills in either discipline (multi-skilled is ideal).A commitment to safety, quality, and high standards.
