We have a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production site in Glasgow, supporting a wide range of production equipment.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, following planned preventative maintenance schedules.Carry out fault finding and practical problem-solving to minimise downtime, targeting less than 2% production loss.Use the company’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log maintenance activity and materials.Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and quality standards at all times.Support continuous improvement and productivity projects on site.Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and across work areas.Assist in training production operators in basic asset care practices.What We’re Looking For:Qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer, preferably apprentice trained.Previous experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.Computer literate and comfortable using CMMS systems.Experience with Lean or continuous improvement environments is a plus.Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality maintenance.Why Apply?Work in a dynamic, high-volume production environment with modern equipment.Be part of a supportive engineering team focused on quality and continuous improvement.Opportunity to make a real impact on plant reliability and efficiency.If you’re ready to take the next step in your engineering career and want to be part of a growing operation in Glasgow, we’d love to hear from you!
