Senior Applications Analyst - Banking

A leading commodities trading firm is searching for a senior application support analyst to join their newly formed team within data on a permanent basis. Experience within a Financial organisations in an application support environment is essential. Hybrid working with 3 days a week on-site in London. Role: Support all of the front office / Trade Floor Products. Join a newly formed team – Lots of room for change / improvements. Looking for someone who can take initiative to leave their own mark on things. Sit as a deputy within the team and play a key role in future growth. Heavy opportunity for automation driven project work, with opportunity to upskill in Python. Work in close collaboration with traders, handling queries and troubleshooting. Requirements: Strong Application Support experience in financial services. Scripting experience necessary – any language but needs the mindset of utilising scripting for automation. Monitoring tooling experience i.e. Geneos/Nagios/Solarwinds. Basic SQL i.e. select and nested queries. Proactive candidate with initiative. #J-18808-Ljbffr
