For almost 50 years, Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Since its foundation in 1977 by the eminent, late Sir Frank Williams and engineering pioneer Sir Patrick Head, the team has won nine Constructors’ Championships, in association with Cosworth, Honda and Renault. Its roll call of drivers is legendary, with its seven Drivers’ Championship trophies being lifted by true icons of the sport: Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented International Events Manager to support our Senior Experiences Manager in creating and executing outstanding events and experiences for our Partners and guests. This role involves contributing to the planning and delivery of a diverse range of international and UK-based events and enhancing the overall guest experience across William’s events platforms. As an International Events Manager , you will be responsible for:

  1. Coordinating event logistics, venues, and vendor management, from concept development to post-event evaluations.
  2. Traveling the globe to deliver exceptional international experiences.
  3. Building and maintaining positive relationships with our Partner Managers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout each event.
  4. Assisting in promoting events to Partners, prospects, and internal team members through various channels, including email campaigns, invitations, and social media.
  5. Contributing creative ideas to enhance event concepts and engagement strategies that align with the team’s objectives.
  6. Participating in budget management tasks to ensure cost-effective event planning and adherence to financial guidelines.
  7. Maintaining accurate event documentation, including schedules, contracts, and budgets.

Our ideal International Events Manager will have:

  1. 4+ years of experience in event management, with exposure to international events.
  2. Previous luxury brand event planning experience.
  3. The ability to manage multiple projects with strong organisational and communication skills.
  4. Contributed and collaborated on ideas, opportunities, and blockers as part of your immediate and wider team such as sharing information on industry insight and identifying blockers and opportunities.
  5. Provided ongoing constructive feedback to colleagues at all levels contributing to continual improvement and growth.
  6. Client Focus: Prioritise Partner and prospect needs to deliver tailored experiences.
  7. Problem-Solving: Quickly address any issues that arise during events and find solutions.
  8. Time Management: Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Enthusiasm: Bring passion and energy to each event, ensuring an exciting and engaging atmosphere.
