Our client is a leading company based in the UK and across the Globe including China and USA. They are industry leading and have built up a strong reputation within the manufacturing and engineering industry.
As Quality Assurance Lead you will be working alongside the Technical Manager and be responsible for auditing Quality Management Systems in accordance with manufacturing regulations. You will communicate with clients and technical leads administering your services. You will review and interpret data on a daily basis ensuring that ISO standards are met. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with a manufacturing background within audits and ISO 9001.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting a career and not just a job. Full training will be provided to help develop you into a very lucrative industry.
What’s involved for the Quality Assurance Lead…
- Review QMS systems in accordance with relevant ISO standards
- Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of legislation and regulatory issues
- Act as a deputy for the Quality Manager
- Review client audit reports
- Bring to the attention of any non-conformances
- Conduct risk assessments
- Respond to technical enquiries
What you’ll need…
- Audit experience is a MUST
- ISO 9001 experience is a MUST
- ISO 17020 & ISO 17065 desirable but not essential
- QA / QC background in engineering desirable
- Ability to communicate at all levels developing strong relationships
- Have the want or ability to interpret technical data and drawings
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Full UK driving licence
