How will you make an impact in this role?As a part of the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.
In the role of Product Associate: Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions, you will be a part of the Enterprise Performance Channel Solutions team, which is responsible for delivering the Enterprise level strategy with major digital publishers, ongoing partnerships, and critical advertising technology. This team plays an integral part in delivering on revenueâdriving business outcomes by ensuring American Express has access to bestâcookie advertising solutions that futureâproof our business.
A successful candidate will have a trackârecord of delivering highâimpact product roadmaps, an deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, and a strong view of the regulatory and privacy landscape surrounding ad tech. Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the Ad Tech product backlog by writing simple user stories, acceptance criteria, and preparing items for refinement.
Help break down larger product initiatives into smaller, actionable tasks with guidance from senior team members.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and help track progress against goals.
Collaborate closely with engineers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth delivery of features.
Work closely with analytics partners to understand advertising data and product performance metrics, developing skills to interpret insights and support dataâinformed product decisions.
Support marketers across the Enterprise in understanding the value and applications of ad tech products.
Act as a subject matter expert in publisherâdriven performance marketing across the enterprise, representing the team in global forums and crossâmarket initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience as a \âTechnical Marketer\â with an understanding of Marketing, Data and Tech used to power business goals.
Experience in using Agile software such as JIRA, Rally etc.
Experience in Agile methodologies such as SAFE, Kanban etc.
Excellent crossâfunctional collaborator.
Exceptional program management and organization skills.
Strong external perspective â ability to look externally at advertising landscape to understand and synthesize current and future trends, regulations, opportunities, and threats.
Ability to translate external perspectives into internal strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to translate technical concepts into laymen\âs terms, ability to adapt messages across teams and levels within an organization.
Understanding of regulatory environment surrounding advertising technology.
