Senior Project Manager – Integrated Lifestyle Service

About the Role

Baltimore Consulting are partnered with a North London Local Authority, whose Public Health team is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead the scoping, planning, and commissioning of an Integrated Lifestyle Service . This new service will bring together health improvement initiatives—including smoking cessation, weight management, falls prevention, and physical activity—under one banner to provide a holistic and accessible approach to public health.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Public Health Commissioning , stakeholder engagement, and service design. You will be responsible for developing the framework for this service, ensuring alignment with best practices in social prescribing and integrated health models.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducting a needs assessment to inform service design
  2. Leading the development of an integrated, single-provider model
  3. Engaging key stakeholders, service providers, and community organizations
  4. Managing the end-to-end commissioning process , including tenders and procurement
  5. Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework to track impact
    Working autonomously while keeping leadership teams and Cabinet informed

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  1. Specialist knowledge of public health theory & practice
  2. Strong experience in Public Health Commissioning within a Local Authority
  3. Project or Programme Management experience in a healthcare or public sector setting
  4. The ability to scope out new services , from concept to procurement
  5. Excellent communication skills to engage Cabinet members, providers & stakeholders
