Are you a sales-driven individual but missing the teamworking and buzz of being in a branch every day? Are you ready for that next step in your career to manage a branch and propel it to its next stage in growth for one of the fastest-growing Building Services companies in the UK? We\’re looking for a Branch Manager in the Exeter area. You\’ll receive a good basic salary of up to £60K, depending on experience, and a great bonus of up to £15K.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting role where you\’ll manage around 10 people, all focused on winning Building Services and HVAC projects and ensuring those orders are satisfied on time and correctly. It\’s a diverse role where you\’ll be involved in everything in the branch, with sales always being foremost in your mind. This role involves managing the sales, stock, and delivery of building services products to customers across the Exeter area.
THE PERSON
We\’re looking for a hungry and driven sales-focused individual with experience in a sales or operational role in a domestic or commercial heating and plumbing merchant. You could also have experience in other areas of the HVAC sector like refrigeration or air conditioning. Equally, you could be working for a manufacturer as an Area Sales Manager or in Internal Sales in a related sector. Lastly, relevant experience from working for an HVAC Contractor in a Sales or Operational role (e.g., Project Manager or BDM) is also valuable.
The top three things needed to be successful in this role are:
- Drive and energy: It\’s an 8-6 working day – Monday to Friday.
- Communication and teamwork: You\’ll need to be a strong communicator to keep 10 people on board and in tune with the growth plans.
- Leadership: You\’ll have a lot of responsibility, managing the whole P&L. We need someone who wants to take on that responsibility and will enjoy it while having some fun along the way.
THE PACKAGE
A basic salary of up to £60K is on offer with a fantastic bonus opportunity of up to £15K (paid throughout COVID – yes, they will look after you!). Additional benefits include:

THE LOCATION
You should be based close to Exeter (30-45 mins drive). Plymouth is too far on a long-term basis. Relevant towns include: Exeter, Exmouth, Honiton, Tiverton, Sidmouth, Okehampton.
