Swanstaff Ltd is looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team! We have a range of opportunities across supported living services and care homes in Ipswich. Job Title: Support Worker Location: Ipswich Salary: £11.44 – £12.60 per hour Job Type: Flexible shifts Our clients are a dedicated organization committed to supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Their goal is to empower individuals to achieve their personal ambitions and lead independent lives within the community. Key Responsibilities: * Person-Centered Support: Provide individualized support by listening to, discussing, and planning everyone’s goals and ambitions. * Community Engagement: Assist individuals in participating in community activities, such as attending educational programs, engaging in social events, and accessing vocational opportunities. * Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals with daily tasks, including personal care, meal planning, cooking, and medication management. * Skill Development: Encourage and empower individuals to develop personal and practical skills, promoting independence in their everyday lives. * Emotional Support: Offer emotional support to help individuals manage challenges and enhance their well-being. Requirements: * Full, valid driver’s license and comfort with transporting residents. * Previous experience in a care setting * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. * Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
