With multiple exciting projects live and a major campus-wide redevelopment underway, this is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of one of Scotland’s most iconic venues.This newly created role will play a pivotal part in delivering a diverse portfolio of technology, digital, and construction-led projects. Reporting to an experienced Head of Projects, you’ll lead a small but capable team, bringing structure, pace, and consistency to high-value, cross-functional programmes.You’ll act as the bridge between strategy and execution – supporting two Project Managers, engaging stakeholders across the business, and embedding best-practice governance. This is a hands on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in agile, fast-moving environments and is confident navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and programmes, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery aligned with strategic goalsSupport Project Managers through effective management and tailored mentorshipBalance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in planning, delivery, and reportingManage risks, interdependencies, and resource planning across a complex portfolioChampion programme governance and drive continuous improvement across all workstreamsEngage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency What We’re Looking ForProven experience in programme or senior project delivery roles, ideally within large, multi-site or complex organisationsStrong leadership skills with a passion for developing high performing teamsExperience delivering transformation across digital, infrastructure or built environment projectsSkilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels and bringing clarity to evolving programmesComfortable in agile, flexible environments and able to balance pace with governanceFamiliarity with project management methodologiesExcellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesWhy Join SEC?This is more than a delivery role- it’s a chance to build, lead, and shape a high-impact function during a pivotal time of growth.
